GID was excellent to work with. They sanded our existing hardwood floors and blended the existing kitchen hardwood into the living room.
It was a seamless transition from old to new flooring. They removed the existing carpet from bedrooms, a stairwell and the living room and replaced with hardwood. Our home is from the 1970s and had squeaky floors and some existing unknown problems; they were upfront with potential extra costs, which was included in the estimate. They communicated quickly when they found an issue and how they fixed it. I also appreciated they put several stain samples on the floor in a couple locations in the house, which made it easier to select the stain. The crew did an excellent job removing the sawdust and the floors were beautifully finished.

We replaced all carpet and engineered wood sections in the whole house with LVP, first and second floors – about 2000sf total.
I have to say that it has been a pleasure dealing with both Richard and Eric. GID was the only company that came up with an acceptable solution for our strangely made stairs. Quality of work and a fair price are all there. Whatever concerns or comments we had regarding floors were addressed where they could be addressed. There were some delays with the whole project but given the scope of it (the whole house) and some customizations (stairs and those awesome vents) it for the most part were outside of GID flooring control. All in all, highly recommend the company!
